The only way I can think of to answer this is by saying, ” I’m still here, still breathing, still living, still smiling” so I haven’t actually been defeated yet, have I? I am in the middle of an 8 year “collapse”. Everything I was blessed with has been taken away. My Son, my house, my security, (sometimes I think my “mind”) but I am still here, so what have I learned from defeat? I won’t know the answer to that until I am dead.
